Breakfast held Friday for women in business

Bethel’s Business and Economics Department hosts event to inspire women.

Bethel University’s Business and Economics department invites all undergraduate students, alumni and employees to the Women in Business Breakfast event Nov. 17 from 8:50 to 10:30 a.m. in The Underground.

Breakfast will be provided, followed by discussion featuring Kristin Pardue. As co-founder and CEO of Rêve Consulting, Pardue will be speaking about the power of stepping out in faith.

“I’m hoping her story resonates with us and inspires some of these female students to not only major in business, but really to see the possibilities of the marketplace in their life,” Associate Professor of Business Mary Ann Harris said. “The combination of hearing her and having discussion at tables … and seeing this community of women together, should inspire further commitment and further interest in vision.”
