Study abroad deadline extended.
Applications for the eight interim study abroad programs are now due May 7. This deadline was pushed back to allow for more students to meet with their academic advisors before making the decision to apply. New forms about COVID-19 will be added to the applications as well, so any students who have already applied should keep an eye out for an additional email. Make sure to check your spam, too. I know I have missed tons of important emails because they end up in my spam folder… oops.

Peace outside of Bethel.
After back to back news about the killing of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center and the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, our state is under an intensely bright spotlight. With all the negativity in the world right now, let’s take action and pray for peace and hope in our city during this time.
If you are looking to take more action, here are a few places to donate and help. Donate to Daunte Wright’s family to help cover funeral costs and provide for his loved ones during this time. If you are interested in more places to donate money or supplies, check out this article from the Minneapolis Saint Paul Magazine.
