Room draw priority deadline Wednesday
The priority application deadline for housing is 10 a.m. Wednesday. If you haven’t started, you can catch up in three steps. First, apply for housing. That’s pretty self-explanatory. Second, choose your roommates. If you are trying to get into North Village, this should be done by 8 a.m. March 3. If you are looking at suite-style living, get it done by 8 a.m. March 7. Finally, select your room. This will start at 4 p.m. March 3 for North Village and 4 p.m. March 7 for suite-style housing. If this doesn’t sound appealing, I recommend finding a hidden corner of campus that Fac Man neglects. Not only is it free, but once you get used to the dust and rats it’s not so bad.
Spring study abroad fair
Are you interested in studying abroad next January? Do you want to become the kind of person who thinks studying abroad is a personality trait? Connect with the Study Abroad Office in the BC from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday to learn more about study abroad opportunities. The event will include both faculty-led J-term programs and third party options.
Dealing with loss during a pandemic
Bethel’s Psychology Club will feature an interactive presentation from counselors Lisa Wold and Melizza Lenz on the topic of dealing with loss during a pandemic. The presentation will be held tomorrow in the Underground from 11 a.m. to noon. If you can help it, always hold presentations in rooms with disco balls. Remember that.
Bethel’s Got Talent
Come to Benson Great Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. this Friday to witness Bethel’s Got Talent. The show is exactly what it sounds like: a Bethel talent show. Although the show is a play on “America’s Got Talent,” I feel as though the show will not be quite as grand. Instead of sword swallowers, we’ll probably have at least three separate contestants playing Wonderwall. Despite this, I will be doing my best Howie Mandel impression from the audience for the entirety of the show. May the best act win.
