Club inactivity Procedures
Resolution 64-3 was passed which will change the BSG Operations Manual that would remove funds from any club deemed inactive by the Executive Director of Clubs and Organizations and BSG Vice President. Changing these club procedures will free up some funds.
Grammar and formatting inconsistencies
Two resolutions were passed that amended the BSG Constitution (Resolution 64-4) and BSG Operations Manual (Resolution 64-5) to solve various grammatical and formatting inconsistencies. The documents have been shared with Senators so they can read corrections through and then deny or approve all corrections in bulk.
Student Involvement job description
The previous job description for Student Involvement included writing articles and reports for The Clarion. This is not the case. Instead, the position hosts a minimum of four events designed to encourage interaction between the student body and student senate. Resolution 64-7 makes these changes to the job description.
Limiting club funding
Because of recent budget cuts to BSG as a whole Clubs and Organizations has received a 66% cut which represents $19,000. To accommodate for these changes Resolution 64-7 does not allow for special accommodations that would be able to increase the maximum budget.
Changing freshman visitation hours
During Committee as the Whole senators discussed writing a statement of opinion that would support Edgren ARD Teegan Johnson and Getsch ARD Savannah Heeran in an effort to get the visitation hours moved from 4 p.m. through 10 p.m to 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
