Get your skates on the ice.
You may have noticed the patch of ice on the lake when passing the class windows in the CLC. That is because Facilities Management has cleared off an ice rink on Lake Valentine. This rink, lined with a few friendly snowmen, is open to the public and to Bethel students. There are no reservations necessary. So lace up your skates, grab some friends and put on one or two pairs of socks for a fun, winter experience.
Back to level one.
As of Friday Bethel has announced a COVID alert level decrease after months of grueling restrictions, including the inability to have visitors in dorm rooms, Bethel is finally back to square one. Remember to continue to follow the COVID guidelines so that it can stay this way. Wash your hands, social distance and wear a mask above the nose. Check out Bethel’s COVID dashboard for any updates on coronavirus cases at Bethel.
Racial Reconciliation. Let’s talk about it.
New York Times bestselling author Latasha Morrison will be speaking at Bethel tomorrow, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Benson. Register and join Morrison and other Bethel students to talk about why it is important for Christians to practice racial reconciliation.
Week three of spring semester.
We did it, spring semester has started and students are entering the third week of classes, activities are starting up again and everyone is getting into their new routine. Make sure to take time for yourself this week: watch the recently released To All the Boys: Always and Forever, listen to Taylor Swift’s re-recorded version of her song Love Story and take a much needed nap.
