Songs with chill vibes to let your imagination run wild.

By Soraya Keiser | News Reporter

I don’t know about you, but I have hit the Spring semester week five slumps. My homework is piling up, and I either have no time or no motivation to do it. On top of that are meetings, jobs and trying to squeeze in a meal at the DC. Spring break is just out of reach and all I want to do is sleep. Well, I have created a playlist to combat this. It is full of fun tunes perfect for giving yourself a chance to recharge.

  1. “Pluto Projector” by Rex Orange County

When the orchestra comes in. Man, that is pure bliss.

  1. “Photograph” by Jaden

This is a great song for a long drive at sunset where you decide to contemplate life.

  1. “4EVER” by Clairo

Cozy, soft vibes. *puppy eyes emoji*

  1. “4/4” by Danny and Alex

I feel like skipping around outside when listening to this song. Let’s normalize skipping.

  1. “Cosmic Love” by Florence + The Machine

Florence’s voice transports me to the astral plane. This is the epitome of cosmic.

  1. “Pareidolia” by Isaac Lewis

Play this song while wearing headphones for an even better experience.

  1. “forget her” by girl in red

I’ve played this song on repeat, and I can’t seem to “forget” it. Ha. Sorry, that was bad.

  1. “Keep Me” by Novo Amor

For songs with great vibes just look up Novo Amor’s entire discography.

  1. “Godspeed” by Frank Ocean

So sad! Nothing else to say.

  1.  “Atlantis” by Seafret

I picture myself hiking through Acadia National Park when I listen to this song. Perfect woodsy music.

  1. “Golden Lights” by Tigers in the Sky

This song has birds chirping in the background and now you can daydream about summer. You’re welcome.

  1. “Wishful Thinking” by BENEE

I think I’ve passed my quota of how many times I can use the word “vibes”, but the vibes are Just. So. Good.
