Royal Register recruitment gathering
Royal Register, Bethel’s men’s-only choir, is holding an informal gathering with free pizza this Friday at 7 p.m. in the choir room (CC312). Yes, that’s right. Pizza. This is perhaps the first Bethel event to have something other than Chick-fil-a. If you’re a guy with a nice singing voice, you might be perfect for this club. If you also happen to play basketball, you might be Troy Bolton. Regardless, if you have any questions, contact Dr. Marcus Simmons.
The add/drop deadline is today!
Today is the final day to add or drop classes for the semester. Otherwise, they’ll end up on your transcript. If you’re on the fence, take my advice. Always drop the class! Push it off for a semester! That way, current-day you doesn’t have to suffer, and future you takes on the burden instead. Life coaching 101.
Bone marrow registry drive
There will be a bone marrow registry drive Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the BC. There will be a table with resources to learn more about the donor registry, ‘Be The Match.’ Your donation could be the cure for critically ill blood cancer patients. If you are interested in registering, you can either do it at the BC table, visit this link or text SwabBethel to 61474.
“The Importance of Being Earnest” auditions
Tomorrow and Wednesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in CC108, there will be auditions for “The Importance of Being Earnest.” The cast will have four men and four women, the roles varying in size. I’m no theater nerd, but I’m pretty sure this is the musical with a little redheaded girl and a bald guy. Otherwise it’s the one with the founding fathers rapping about taxation and tariffs and that kind of stuff. If you’re bald, redheaded or just want to be part of a show, click the link here to sign up.
