Women in business breakfast

Ladies! If you are a business student, come to the Underground from 8:50 – 10:30 a.m. on Mar. 26 for breakfast and words from guest Chelsey Berstler. She is a Bethel graduate who currently works as the Vice President of Affordability at UnitedHealth Group. In addition to this, a photo booth will be available to take your own Rosie the Riveter photo. It is unclear whether or not two forms of identification will be necessary to prove that you are a woman upon entering. Maybe bring them to be safe.

Bethel’s Lenten devotional

During the season of Lent, a free daily devotional will be offered to students, employees, parents, and friends. The devotional, “Centered on Jesus” reflects on Lenten themes like contemplation, repentance, spiritual discipline and salvation. Click here to access the devotional. Good luck with your Lenten commitments! I gave up writing The Egg for Lent. It’s not going well so far.

Fulbright Scholarship opportunity

If you are a freshman, sophomore or junior you are eligible for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. The program provides grants for individually designed study and research projects English Teaching Assistant Programs. If you participate, you will work, live and learn from people from the host country. There will be an informational, virtual meeting today from 2 – 3:15 p.m., which can be accessed here. Think about it this way: if you study abroad, you can base your entire personality around it for the rest of your life. Go ahead, apply.

BU Marketplace interest form

The BU Marketplace is happening again! If you are a student with a small business, fill out this form to potentially sell your products at the event. I think I’m going to debut my new small business at this event. The idea is simple enough: you give me $500. That’s it. Thanks.
