In October 2024, news broke that Spirou Provence Park will open a new area dedicated to the world of Naruto, allowing fans to immerse themselves in Konoha, the Hidden Leaf Village beloved by fans of Masashi Kishimoto. Recently, a first image of the construction site was released.

Naruto: A Global Manga Phenomenon

Published between 1999 and 2014, the manga Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto, has garnered millions of fans worldwide. This influential work narrates the journey of a young ninja who faces adversity head-on. Its popularity has firmly established Naruto in popular culture, inspiring generations of readers.

Naturally, the General Director of Spirou Provence Park in Avignon seized the moment during the “Ciné Concert Naruto Shippuden Symphonic Experience” in Paris to announce the arrival of a dedicated area for the iconic ninja within the French theme park.

The park aims to provide an immersive experience for visitors, allowing them to explore a faithful recreation of Konoha Village, built in collaboration with the original creators of the anime.

Updates on the Konoha Village Construction

Last December, the park offered fans a glimpse of what’s to come by unveiling a concept art for the area dedicated to Naruto. Spanning 1.5 hectares, this new land will allow visitors to delve into the streets of Konoha and its iconic locations from the manga. It is designed to attract a wide range of guests, including teenagers, young adults, and families. Featured prominently will be a family-friendly roller coaster.

The area will feature a recreation of Konoha Village, with the entrance to the Hidden Leaf Village, as well as the main building housing the Hokage’s offices and the Hokage Monument, displaying the faces of Hashirama, Tobirama Senju, and others. Visitors will also have access to dining options, with hopes that the menu will include Japanese noodles and the famous ramen from Ichiraku, a dish that Naruto adores!

Construction is well underway, and recent photos show the progress being made. The park’s team is actively working, marking just the beginning of this exciting project.
