The fresh teaser shows a slightly older but still sharp Dexter, his demeanor more playful and taunting than the cold, clinical Dexter of earlier seasons.
The shift in tone is apparent: the Resurrection trailer reveals that Dexter is no longer as concerned with hiding his double life. Instead, the focus seems to be on a darkly competitive game among serial killers, masterminded by characters like Leon Prater (played by Peter Dinklage) and Charley (Uma Thurman).
