A Magical Journey Awaits
Directed by David Tomaszewski, the film Yoroï is set to hit theaters on October 29, 2025. The narrative follows Aurélien, a fatigued artist who decides to leave France with his pregnant wife for a new life in Japan. Once there, he uncovers an ancient, magical armor at the bottom of a well, which has the ability to awaken mysterious creatures known as Yokaïs. Aurélien, now a reluctant hero, must confront these beings using his armor, reminiscent of the famed Knights of the Zodiac. The trailer hints at a blend of action, combat, and humor, highlighted by Orelsan’s unique perspective.
The film’s cast also features Clara Choï (Tamara), Kazuya Tanabe, and Bob Brahmi. Audiences can catch Yoroï in theaters starting October 29 or during special previews, including one in Caen, Orelsan’s hometown.
