The narrative follows Aurélien, a fatigued artist who decides to leave France with his pregnant wife for a new life in Japan. Once there, he uncovers an ancient, magical armor at the bottom of a well, which has the ability to awaken mysterious creatures known as Yokaïs. Aurélien, now a reluctant hero, must confront these beings using his armor, reminiscent of the famed Knights of the Zodiac.
