Yes, minors are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult. We do not permit unaccompanied minors, and if a minor is accompanied by someone who is not their parent, appropriate authorization for exit from the territory must be arranged. Additionally, they may be restricted from certain venues, bars, and restaurants due to US laws.
- Are TrashTalk trips wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely. If a person with reduced mobility wishes to join, they must be accompanied by a companion who can assist throughout the trip.

Our goal remains to ensure every participant enjoys an exceptional experience. If this trip is successful and there’s demand, we will consider other destinations for the future.

- Why aren’t there more quad and/or double accommodations instead of singles in hotels?
We have worked with Gate One Voyages to offer a variety of accommodations throughout the night. For quad rooms, we’ve planned for 32 individuals, which are typically the first to sell out due to lower pricing. We’re open to community feedback to see if there’s potential to increase the number of quad accommodations.
- The website states €500—does that mean the Texas TrashTalk trip costs €500?
Unfortunately, no. If you find an agency offering round-trip flights from Paris to Texas with three NBA games, multiple nights in various cities, and additional surprises for only €500, please let us know, as it would likely be dangerous or even a scam. We have clarified pricing options in the trip description. The €500 is merely the initial deposit required to secure your place. The remaining balance will depend on the room option you selected, which we will detail shortly.
- I’ve paid my €500 deposit; when is the rest due?
The Gate One Voyages team will contact you to provide specifics regarding the remaining payment, including deadlines and final pricing based on your selected room type. Spoiler alert: you won’t need to settle this in 48 hours like Liam Neeson in Taken. You’ll have time to arrange this payment as we understand this is a significant budget, and we want you to feel relaxed as you prepare for the trip in January!
- If I booked a quad room, will I have four beds just for myself?
No, if you booked a spot in a quad room, it means you will share it with three other participants! This setup encourages lively discussions and the formation of new friendships among fans. In Dallas, we’ll be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown, in Houston right across from the Toyota Center at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, and concluding our trip with three nights at the Fairfield by Marriott San Antonio Alamo Plaza for easy access to the city center.

Last year, many expressed interest in the trip but struggled with the timing due to school schedules. While we appreciate this feedback, the NBA calendar offers limited options. Finding the right time that combines significant NBA games with affordable travel during holidays is easier said than done. We’ll attempt to align with holiday periods this year to maximize convenience.
- That seems expensive, doesn’t it?
