In a remarkable turn of events, Sherwood’s career took off in the 2023-24 season. He played a personal-best 68 games for the Predators, recording 27 points. This success earned him a two-year, $3 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks. Sherwood’s upward trajectory continued in the 2024-25 season, where he notched career highs in goals (19), assists (21), and total points (40), along with his first-ever hat trick.
