Contest Rules and Prizes
The TrashTalk Bracket Contest challenges participants to fill out the 2026 Playoffs bracket before the event kicks off. For each round (first round, conference semifinals, conference finals, and NBA Finals), you’ll need to predict which team will win their series in four games on your bracket. You also need to specify the exact series score: 4-0, 4-1, 4-2, or 4-3. Each time you select a winning team, that team progresses to the next round.
Ultimately, the goal is to complete your bracket, validate it, and see how closely your predictions align with the actual outcomes in the NBA!
The winner of the 2026 TrashTalk Bracket Contest will earn a remarkable prize of €5,000. Yes, you could take home €5,000 if your predictions are spot on!
And if you’re feeling lucky, there’s a bonus scenario: if a participant submits a perfect bracket—correctly selecting all series winners and exact scores—they will receive an astounding €10,000!

The registration for the TrashTalk Bracket Contest opens on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 09:00 and closes on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 23:59.
Once you’ve successfully submitted and validated your bracket:

- A copy will be sent directly to the email address you provided (be sure to check your spam folder).

Determining the Winner
At the conclusion of the 2026 Playoffs, brackets will be ranked based on the following criteria (in the order of tie-breakers):
- Correct NBA Champion prediction
- Correct finalists in the NBA Finals
- Correct series score of the NBA Finals
- Correct teams in the conference finals
- Correct series scores of conference finals
- Correct teams in the conference semifinals
- Correct series scores of conference semifinals
- Correct teams from the Play-In Tournament
- Correct series scores from the first round of the playoffs
If multiple brackets tie for first place, a random draw will determine the grand winner of the TrashTalk Bracket Contest 2026.
Announcement of the Winner
The NBA Finals are expected to conclude by mid-June, followed by a draft and the analysis of numerous brackets, so the winner will be announced at the end of June or early July.
