If you’ve been missing the Straw Hat Pirates, there’s good news—One Piece season 2 is officially finished filming! Netflix shared the exciting update on Instagram, posting a behind-the-scenes shot of Luffy and his crew, much to the delight of fans worldwide.
In the caption, Netflix teasingly wrote: “Straw Hats, our destination is set! Filming for Season 2 is officially complete, and the Grand Line is within reach. Destiny is in motion, are you ready to answer the call?” With those words, the anticipation for the next season has just gone into overdrive.
What Can We Expect in Season 2 ?
The second season will once again feature Iñaki Godoy as the beloved Luffy, taking center stage as the adventurous, dream-chasing captain. He will be joined by the same talented cast from season 1, including Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Fans of the anime series and manga know that season 2 will likely explore even more iconic story arcs from the original material, but for now, we still don’t have a confirmed release date.
Given the typical production schedules for a series as ambitious as this, it’s safe to assume we might have to wait until late 2025 or even early 2026 to see the new season hit our screens. But regardless of the wait, one thing is certain—the excitement surrounding the live-action adaptation continues to build.
So, for now, all we can do is stay tuned and keep an eye out for more updates from the One Piece team!
