Another night in the NBA features just four games on the schedule, which might not make for the easiest evening without a good cup of coffee. However, the league always has its surprises in store. From the Joker facing off against the rebuilding team in Salt Lake City to Giannis being a game-time decision, and the debut of Darius Garland—tonight promises to be rewarding for fans.
The NBA Evening Schedule
- 1:00 AM: Wizards vs. Rockets
- 1:30 AM: Bucks vs. Celtics
- 3:00 AM: Jazz vs. Nuggets
- 4:00 AM: Warriors vs. Clippers
Highlight Matchup: Warriors vs. Clippers
It was challenging to pick a standout matchup for tonight, especially since a fully healthy lineup would have made for a more exciting evening. Nonetheless, the Warriors vs. Clippers clash could be intriguing if the Warriors display the same level of play they showed against the Nuggets last week. Admittedly, on paper, Golden State doesn’t look very strong (with Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler out). However, this matchup is crucial as the two teams sit in eighth and ninth place in the Western Conference, fighting for playoff positioning. The game also marks the much-anticipated debut of Darius Garland in his new California colors, coming three weeks after being traded. The guard has missed many games due to a toe injury.

Another game to keep an eye on is the Bucks vs. Celtics, which has consistently delivered thrilling moments in recent years. With Jaylen Brown on fire and Neemias Queta making history, the Celtics shouldn’t shy away from Tatum’s absence. However, on the Milwaukee side, fans are hoping that Giannis Antetokounmpo is truly a game-time decision; otherwise, the matchup could end with a significant score gap. Nevertheless, nothing is guaranteed in the NBA, and a standout performance from Kyle Kuzma could change everything.
French Players in Action
- Bilal Coulibaly against the Rockets (with Alexandre Sarr injured).
- Nicolas Batum against the Warriors.
- Ousmane Dieng facing the Celtics.
